Dr. Shu has practiced clinical care in Pediatric General Surgery, Pediatric Urology and Pediatric Thoracic Surgery for almost 40 years. He is competent in performing surgeries independently for pediatric congenital heart diseases such as atrial septal defect, ventricular septal defect, patent ductus arteriosus, pulmonary artery stenosis and tetralogy of fallot, and also perfusion of extracorporeal circulation for congenital heart disease and its postoperative intensive care.

He specializes in treating general thoracic surgical conditions including congenital cystic lung diseases, diaphragmatic hernia, mediastinal tumor and esophageal atresia. He is experienced in management of common and frequent diseases in pediatric general surgery and urology and emergency surgical treatment for pediatric hernia, hypospadias and acute appendicitis.
