Otolaryngology (ENT) Department

The Otolaryngology (ENT) Department has appointed Professor Shi Jianbo as its academic leader. He is one of the leading Chinese experts in Rhinology, Otology, Laryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and pediatric sleep apnea. He is the vice chairman of the International Rhinological Society (IRS) and former deputy director of Otolaryngology Division of the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University and former director of its Rhinology Department. The professor is qualified for multi-sited practice in the First and Second Affiliated Hospitals of Sun Yat-sen University. He has introduced state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic technologies in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery and aims to create a “National Training Base for Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery”.
