Diabetic Foot, Lupus and Psoriasis
With a team of top experts and state-of-the-art equipment, the center provides comprehensive and personalized treatment solutions for patients worldwide with hard-to-heal wounds, including diabetic foot, lupus and psoriasis. From precise assessment to wound healing and long-term disease management, we provide full-cycle care to promote healing, preserve limb function, and improve quality of life.
Preserving Hope for Healing
Leveraging a strong multidisciplinary platform, our Wound Healing Center integrates Endocrinology, Ozone Therapy, Surgery, Interventional Medicine, Orthopedics, Nutrition, and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), our multidisciplinary team (MDT) specializes in complex, chronic and non-healing wounds. We develop personalized wound repair and limb-preservation plans to optimize healing outcomes.
Scope of Diagnosis and Treatment Services
Limb-preserving treatment and wound repair for complex wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers, psoriasis-related wounds, lupus-related skin ulcers, pressure ulcers, burns, chronic ulcers, lower-extremity vascular ulcers, traumatic infections, and various non-healing postoperative wounds.

Featured Diagnostic and Treatment Services
Diabetic Foot
For lower-extremity vascular and nerve damage and foot ulceration or necrosis caused by uncontrolled blood glucose, our specialty team leverages MDT collaboration to implement precise glycemic control, wound debridement and repair, and lower-extremity revascularization simultaneously, helping reduce the risk of amputation, with a 90% clinical success rate.
Psoriasis-Related Wounds
For challenging cases involving skin erosion, exudation, recurrent infection, and delayed healing, our team addresses both underlying immune dysregulation and wound management, combining Western and TCM approaches to restore the skin barrier and achieve simultaneous disease control and wound healing.
Lupus-Related Skin Ulcers
For persistent skin ulcers associated with immune dysfunction and vasculitis, systemic immune-targeted treatment is combined with microcirculation management and specialized local wound care to promote healing through an integrated internal–external approach.
Integrated TCM & Natural Therapies
TCM and natural therapies are integrated throughout the treatment, healing, and rehabilitation of chronic, hard-to-heal wounds. Herbal fumigation and topical ointments are used to warm and improve meridian circulation, remove necrotic tissue, and support tissue regeneration, complemented by medical ozone therapy, physical wound therapies, and microcirculation management to optimize the wound environment. Detoxification therapy, personalized nutrition, emotional support, sleep management, and rehabilitation training are also incorporated into an integrated program for wound repair, Qi and blood regulation, constitutional support, and functional recovery—supporting the body’s natural healing capacity and helping reduce the risks of wound recurrence, deterioration, and amputation.
Core Strengths of the Subspecialty
Multidisciplinary Team(MDT) Approach
Decode the Secret of Complex Wound Healing The department has established a multidisciplinary approach that encompasses clinical, diagnostic, and nursing teams. This integrated care approach ensures treatment pathways for simultaneous glycemic control, wound debridement, anti-infective therapy, negative pressure wound therapy, and skin graft repair. Multidisciplinary team approach is integrated throughout the entire continuum of care to minimize the risk of amputation.
Integrative Wound Healing
Western medical approaches, which are featured by precise debridement, infection control, and revascularization, are integrated with internal and topical TCM therapies to regulate Qi and blood, remove necrotic tissue, and promote tissue regeneration. Medical ozone therapy and local hyperthermia are also introduced to activate the tissue's self-repair potential. Our therapeutic approaches are not simply combined together. Instead, we practice treatment prioritization and integration that is specific to stages of wound healing, forming holistic care strategies to improve wound healing outcomes.
Advanced Technology — Full-Cycle Wound Care
The specialty is equipped with a real-time dynamic "3C" insulin pump system to continuously monitor and effectively regulate blood glucose levels, creating a stable metabolic foundation for wound healing. Negative pressure wound therapy devices are used to promote granulation tissue growth and shorten the healing cycle. Vascular Doppler ultrasound is also used to accurately assess lower-limb blood supply, forming a closed-loop equipment-supported system from metabolic control to wound repair.
Closed-Loop Care — Hospital to Home
The department has developed and implemented a full-chain management mechanism of "inpatient treatment — discharge instructions — home follow-up". Regular foot screening is conducted to warn of recurrence risks; one-on-one nursing guidance standardizes home dressing changes; and remote health education improves self-management ability, reducing the risk of recurrence and deterioration at the root.
